Meet Me at the Museum
Meet me at the Museum is the name of our monthly meeting space for people living with Dementia, their partners, family or carers as well as older people looking for some fun, company and conversation.
All session are located at Tullie Museum.
Everyone is welcome, regardless of what stage of Dementia they may be living with. If it’s your first time attending a session, please call 01228 618 722 or email community@tullie.org.uk to discuss how we can best accommodate you.
Upcoming sessions:
Wednesday 7th October 2026: Drawing from Still life - a chance to release your inner artist and have a go at some guided drawing of items from the collection.
Wednesday 4th November 2026: Memory Boxes - we've put together a selection of objects into mystery boxes to spark conversation and recollection.
Wednesday 2nd December 2026: Christmas Party! Join us for fun, games and carols at our Christmas party.
Wednesday 6th January 2027: Try Something New - bring in the new year by having a go at something different. There'll be a selection of games and activities to suit everyone
Wednesday 3rd February 2027: British Wildlife - A chance to get a closer look at some of the taxidermy from our handling collection with activities and discussion all about the variety of British wildlife
Wednesday 3rd March 2027: Brilliant Books - Take a look at the wide variety of books and reading materials we have in our collection, we would love to hear about books you've been reading or treasured stories you have.
Wednesday 7th April 2027: Baking and Recipes - We have a great array of historic kitchen tools and baking equipment to keep you busy this month. share treasured favourite recipes and take a look at some classic cook books.
